What does it mean when a note is ‘called’?

When a note is called, it means that the originator is calling the note earlier than the original deal term. If the originators are choosing to refinance, investors in the previous note have the opportunity to roll into the next one offered by the same originator with potentially different terms.

When the next note is structured and available to roll into on the platform, you'll see a Rollover Button appear under your investment. Once you select the button, a rollover window will pop up where you'll be able to invest in the next note. Please note, if you do not elect to rollover into the next note, your principal and interest will be credited to your Investable Balance on the date of the next note's closed date/current note's maturity date.
